Membership is $50.00 per year for you and your immediate household. Membership is valid from April 1st thru March 31st.
End of season discount! Between September 15th and December 31st, membership is only $25 and will be valid until March 31st.
Memberships purchased after January 1 are valid until March 31 of the following year.
Members enjoy nearly unlimited access to The Wastelands, discounts at participating partner businesses, and no additional fees for regular racing events.
Being a member of WMARCC does not require you to do business with any specific hobby store(s).
Racing series hosted by the club are open to non-members at a cost of $5.00 per class, per participant age 16+ (15 and under free). Special events may have additional charges for both members and non-members.
All surface-based R/C — battery, fuel, or even rubber band powered — are welcome.
When on property, radios must be on the 2.4Ghz frequency to not interfere with the neighboring R/C flight club.
Due to liability restrictions, drones are only allowed by invitation. (If you are interested in flying, there is a R/C airfield just down the road.)
Be mindful of others enjoyment and follow all posted rules. See property-specific rules, below.
Always dispose of batteries properly. Never put LiPo batteries in trash.
Failure to follow rules may result in being asked to leave, and/or revocation of your membership with no refund.
The Wastelands property is secured behind a locked gate. Members will be given access codes.
Guests are welcome to visit The Wastelands with a current paid member when invited.
All children 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult member.
Access is generally limited to daylight hours.
Follow all posted rules. Drive vehicles of all sizes in designated areas only.
This property is leased from the County of Muskegon and access is only available by County-owned private roads. Disrespect to County property by you or your guest(s) — including but not limited to vandalism, burnouts/donuts, use of alcohol or banned substances — will result in revocation of your membership with no refund as well as criminal charges from Muskegon County.
Membership Cards and Gate Codes
Membership may be purchased online or in-person with a club officer or at a hobby shop. Online debit or credit card payments are processed thru PayPal for security.
All required information must be filled out accurately.
You will receive an email receipt with your electronic membership card. Make sure to save it to your phone (screenshot), or show it to the WMARCC Secretary to receive a physical card.
All household members age 16+ must be listed on your membership. While at The Wastelands, members age 16+ must carry a membership card (electronic or physical).
The current gate code is also included in your membership email. Gate codes are changed on April 1 of each year, and the new code is emailed to all members in good standing at that time.
